We photographed the prototype on a tabletop with polarised light and scanned materials. Look-dev rebuilt the four finishes in CGI using the same key and contact shadows as the plate.
Hero stills for the site mixed a live plate with swapped CGI finishes. Lifestyle frames were live action only — we did not composite a chair into a room that would date in a year.
The grade treated CGI and plate as one image. If a producer could point to the render, we went back. They could not.
